ISB Holds Farewell for Class XII Students

 The Indian School organized a vibrant farewell event for the outgoing Class XII students on Monday, February 5, 2024. The atmosphere was a mix of celebration and nostalgia as the students bid farewell to their alma mater. Class XI students had arranged a diverse range of programmes to entertain their seniors.
The event was inaugurated by ISB Honorary Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, who lit the ceremonial lamp. Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, EC Members Ranjini Mohan, Bonny Joseph, Biju George, Principal VR Palaniswamy, Staff Representative Parvathi Devadas, and Vice-Principals were also in attendance. The coordination of the program was overseen by Class XI students under the guidance of Head Teacher Regi Varughese.
In his felicitation address, Principal VR Palaniswamy urged the students to uphold the school's reputation and take on responsible roles in society. Hon.Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese encouraged students to recognize that with determination, they can overcome all barriers, and what may seem impossible becomes achievable with self-confidence.
The farewell party unfolded with enthusiasm at the school's Jashanmal auditorium, providing an opportunity for the outgoing students to reflect on their time on campus and the quality education they received.
Head Boy Daneysh Subramanian emphasized the importance of carrying forward the lessons learned within the school, including courage in facing challenges, and the determination to make a positive impact on the world.  Head Girl Sahasra  Kotagiri  advised students to maintain pride, embrace challenges for personal growth, and honor the guidance received, with failures serving as fuel for future success.
The ceremony commenced with national anthems, a recitation from the Holy Quran, and the school prayer. Cultural events included songs and  lively dance performances led by Ishika Pradeep, Arun Suresh, Anushka, Shine and Tanya. Various games, songs, and band added vibrancy and color to the programme. Masters of ceremonies included Abigail Ellis Shibu, Shan D Louis, Alina Mehraj, Silviya Rino, Gargi Sarangi, Neha Ann, Ahmed Faruqi, Lakshmi Santhosh, Prishi Saxena, Megha Ann, Ankita Gupta, Mohit Sethi, Advaith Ajith, Mohammed Salman, Jermi Premnavas, Avin Asis, Jumainah Junaid, and Aditi Sahu.
The outgoing students expressed gratitude to the school for being a source of inspiration and motivation. ISB Hon.Chairman Adv.Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, Executive Committee Members, and Principal VR Palaniswamy extended  best wishes for their success in future endeavors and hoped for outstanding results in the upcoming Board Examinations.

The presentation by Aniq, Aradhya, Ashtamy, Avin, Bhadra, Ezekiel, Gopu, Navjot, Shan, and Sreehari during the Farewell 2024 event was well-received by the audience.
