The Indian School Honours Teachers for their Excellence

 The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) hosted an award ceremony to recognize and applaud the exemplary service of its teachers. A total of 68 teachers were honored with medals, certificates, and cash awards in acknowledgment of their outstanding contributions to the school during their long service. Additionally, 88 teachers who had served as House officials over the past two academic years were also appreciated for their noteworthy roles. The ceremony took place in the school auditorium in the Isa Town campus. 
ISB Honorary Chairman Prince S  Natarajan, Honorary Secretary Saji Antony, Vice-Chairman Jayafar Maidani, EC Members Binu Mannil Varughese, Rajesh Nambiar, Principal VR Palaniswamy and Riffa Campus Principal Pamela Xavier, along with Staff Representative Johnson K Devassy, expressed their appreciation for the teachers' unwavering dedication and service. The entire staff from both campuses attended the event, which was followed by dinner.The proceedings commenced with the Bahrain and India national anthems, followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The teachers sang the school prayer, setting a reverential tone for the event.
During his speech, Prince S  Natarajan expressed gratitude to the teachers for their outstanding service to the school, especially noting their swift adaptation to the online teaching platform during the challenging period of COVID-19. He highlighted that the school's executive committee consistently treated all teachers with dignity and respect, underscoring  the teachers' resilience and the supportive environment fostered by the school's leadership.
Honorary Secretary Saji Antony conveyed gratitude for the teachers' remarkable dedication to the institution, emphasizing their exceptional commitment to their roles within the school.The ceremony served not only as a platform for acknowledgment but also as a testament to the collective efforts of the entire teaching staff in fostering a thriving educational environment at the school.
