THE INDIAN SCHOOL CELEBRATES MALAYALAM AND SANSKRIT DAYS

 Malayalam and Sanskrit Days were exuberantly celebrated at the Indian School Bahrain(ISB), showcasing a diverse array of culture on Tuesday. The vibrant festivities took place in the Jashanmal auditorium,hosted by the collaborative efforts of the Malayalam and Sanskrit departments. ISB EC Member-Finance Binu Mannil Varughese inaugurated the programme  by lighting the ceremonial lamp in the presence of Principal VR Palaniswamy,Vice-Principals ,Staff Representative Johnson K Devassy, Head Teachers, Heads of Departments, and the language teachers, all coming together to celebrate the rich linguistic and literary heritage.  The event was coordinated by the Head of the Department, Bismi Jommy.

The day's proceedings featured an array of captivating performances, with students from various sections participating in a variety of programmes. The event was officially kicked off by Ridhi K Rajeevan  with a warm welcome to the assembled audience. The programme included mesmerizing group songs, dances, recitations and enchanting solo performances, all of which added a kaleidoscope of colours to the celebration.

Additionally, the Malayalam and Sanskrit Departments of the Indian School had organized a series of competitions for the students, fostering their appreciation and proficiency in these languages. Trophies and certificates were awarded to the talented winners, encouraging their dedication and enthusiasm. Sreya Chandran extended vote of thanks. ISB Hon. Chairman Prince S Natarajan, Hon. Secretary Saji Antony, and Principal VR Palaniswamy expressed their appreciation and congratulated the students who actively participated in the well-organized programme. Dhanish Roshan and Sona Saji were the masters of ceremonies.

THE INDIAN SCHOOL BAHRAIN

The Indian School is a CBSE affiliated school located in Bahrain. It was founded in the year 1950. The Indian School, Bahrain has around 12,000 students and is one of the largest co-ed schools in the Gulf.
