ISB Honours Middle Section Students for Academic Achievements-VI to VIII

 The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) organized the Academic Award Ceremony on Thursday May 18, 2023 to felicitate students from class VI to VIII for their academic achievements. Around 275 toppers and high achievers were honoured with certificates for their excellent performance in the academic year 2022-2023. The programme was held at the Jashanmal  auditorium in Isa Town campus.
Indian Embassy Second Secretary Ravi Kumar Jain was the chief guest of the ceremony.  ISB Hon. Chairman Prince S Natarajan,Hon. Vice-Chairman Jayafar Maidani, Executive Committee Members Binu Mannil Varughese, Rajesh Nambiar, Ajayakrishnan V, Mohammad Nayaz Ullah, Principal VR Palaniswamy, Riffa Campus Principal Pamela Xavier, Vice- Principals and  Head Teachers attended the ceremony.  
In his inaugural address, Indian Embassy Second Secretary Ravi Kumar Jain appreciated the excellent performance of the Indian School students in academics and conveyed his best wishes appreciating the hard work and dedication of students and staff. The Indian School has been keeping their tradition of excellence.    With the introduction of New Education Policy (NEP) the quality enhancement initiatives have gained momentum. Ravi Kumar Jain congratulated the Indian School for their tireless efforts for imparting quality education in an exemplary manner. He also appreciated the extracurricular activities with reference to the  performance of the school band.  
ISB Hon. Chairman Prince S Natarajan in his presidential address congratulated the A1 achievers and said that the concerted efforts of the teachers with the wholehearted support of the parents resulted in the brilliant performance of the students.  The Indian School faculty have quickly adapted to the online and offline teaching platforms during the pandemic days.  Every subject and field has its own possibilities or potentials and parents should identify the student’s interest and guide them accordingly, he said. Prince Natarajan presented a   memento to the chief guest.
Principal VR Palaniswamy welcomed the gathering. He appreciated the hard work of the students, commitment of the teachers, cooperation of the parents and the support and guidance of the Executive Committee during the challenging times. Parents and teachers have put in their best efforts to mentor and monitor the children in the formation of their character, he said. Middle Section Vice-Principal Vinod S  proposed the vote of thanks.
Earlier the programme started with the national anthems and reading of the Holy Quran followed by the lighting of the lamp. It was followed by the school prayer and invocation dance by students. Students of the middle section performed group song, cinematic dance and Arabic dance.  A1 certificates were distributed to students by the chief guest  and school officials.
