'This flagship initiative was launched in 2017 to grow in educational partnership, share ideas and strategies, and to promote the  best practices of scientific investigation, reasoning, and logic among students of the primary schools’, said Riffa campus Principal Pamela Xavier. ‘We are thankful to all the schools for their encouragement and involvement in the APJ Science Quest Seasons and making this venture a successful one. We also extend our gratitude to Mothercare and Al Rashid Group, who have always supported us by being our title sponsor, and to all the sponsors who have powered the event in the past. Sarath Menon used to be the quiz master in the previous years.’
The purpose of the event is largely to promote young students’ scientific curiosity and interest in current events. The ISB has been holding the science quest each year since 2017, with just the exception of the COVID-19 break. The team-building and exciting learning event has grown in popularity and has become a favourite among the island’s primary schools. The event is also a tribute to late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India and scientist who ignited young minds. ISB Hon. Chairman Prince S  Natarajan, Hon. Secretary Saji Antony and the Executive Committee members have offered their generous support  and guidance for the conduct of the event', Pamela Xavier said.
