ISB Holds Farewell for Class XII Students

The Indian School organised a glittering farewell function on its Isa Town campus for the outgoing class XII students on Wednesday. It was a festive, yet poignant occasion, as the students bid goodbye to their alma mater. The students of class XI had arranged a wide array of programmes to entertain their seniors. Principal VR Palaniswamy inaugurated the programme in the presence of Vice-Principals, Staff Representative Johnson K Devassy,Head Teachers,staff and students. The farewell party was celebrated with fervour at the school campus. It was an occasion for the outgoing students to look back at the time they spent in the campus and the quality education that they acquired during the period. Principal VR Palaniswamy in his felicitation address, extolled the students to keep the name of the school flying high and to take up responsible roles in the society. Head Teacher Regi Varughese in his speech reminded the students of their social commitment and asked them to uphold the values of honesty and integrity. Head Boy Aadersh Abilash and Head Girl Vigneshwari Natarajan also gave speeches. The ceremony started with national anthems, recitation from Holy Quran and school prayer. Asst. Head Boy Ayaan Mohammed Ebrahim and Head Girl Sreelakshmi Manoj welcomed the gathering. Cultural events commenced with a song followed by a power packed dance performance of students which was full of energy. Ramp walk, games,songs and band made the programme vibrant and colorful. The outgoing students thanked the school for being a source of inspiration, encouragement and motivation. ISB Hon.Chairman Prince S Natarajan, Hon.Secretary Saji Antony and Executive Committee members wished them success in their future endeavours and hoped that the students would come out with flying colours in the Board Examinations.
