ISB Celebrates Bahrain National Day

The Indian School Bahrain(ISB) Isa Town campus students celebrated the Kingdom's National Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm on December 15,2022. The programme which was coordinated by the Arabic Department highlighted the achievements of the Kingdom expressing its cultural diversity and religious tolerance. The students celebrated the 51st Bahrain National Day waving national flags and singing patriotic songs. It was a grand show of love for the country wherein students showcased their artistic talents.Dressed in traditional Bahraini attire students lined in the procession waving Bahrain flags singing in praise of the Kingdom as part of National Day festivities led by the school band. ISB Hon.Chairman Prince S Natarajan, EC Member-Academics Mohammad Khursheed Alam, Principal VR Palaniswamy, Staff Representative Johnson K Devassy and Vice-Principals attended the programme. Prince Natarajan extended best wishes to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Royal Family and the people of Bahrain citing the Kingdom's achievements through the comprehensive visions of the leadership.Principal VR Palaniswamy hailed the dedicated efforts of the Arabic Department which were exerted to reflect the crucial importance of the National Day among the students. HoD Ruqayya A.Rahim coordinated the programme.Prince S Natarajan hoisted the national flag which was followed by the national anthem and recitation from the Holy Quran. Traditional Bahraini dance was presented by students as a tribute to the kingdom. Teachers were honoured for their dedication and hardwork for the country. Zainab Mohammed and Abdulla A Jalil gave Arabic speeches about Bahrain. Traditional costume competition was also conducted. Traditional Bahraini music and dance Liwa and fashion show made the programme colourful.
