Indian School Celebrates French Day

The Indian School conducted its annual French Day (La Matinée Française 2022) depicting various programmes to celebrate the second most widely learned foreign language in the world and highlight its rich culture. The first phase of the French Day was held with students from Grades 6 to 10 participating in the pencil drawing and students from Grade 9-10 in the poster making. The second phase was held with students partaking in various events namely, poem recitation, rhymes recital, storytelling, solo song, super chef, PowerPoint presentation on France, and group song. The winners of different events were awarded with trophies. The valedictory ceremony was held in the presence of Principal VR Palaniswamy, Vice-Principals Anand Nair, Vinod S, Satheesh G, Head Teachers Jose Thomas, Parvathi Devdasan and Sreekala R. The programme started with the national anthem of Bahrain, India and France followed by the school prayer. Head of Department Trévise Michel felicitated the students on their hard work and dedication towards the success of the French Week. ISB Hon.Chairman Prince S Natarajan,Hon.Secretary Saji Antony and Principal VR Palaniswamy appreciated the efforts of all the participants and the teachers responsible in organizing the French Day.
