ISB Student Enters India Book of Records for Artworks
Indian School student Deekshith Krishna has entered the India Book of Records for creating different types of art work. The boy utilized the pandemic period for his creative expressions through artworks. Deekshith is a student of grade IX at the Indian School Bahrain (ISB). He made 80 colourful drawings, 30 oil pastel drawings ,100 bottle arts,5 paper dolls ,25 pencil drawings ,2 wall paintings ,13 watercolor paintings,2 negative art pictures, 24 acrylic paintings ,12 (3D) paintings and painted 3 CDs at the age of 13 years as confirmed by the India Book of Records. Deekshith is son of Subin P Vivekanandan and Saritha Subin. The boy joined the Indian School in 2013 and has been an avid reader of books besides excelling in academics. His sister Nakshatra is a grade 4 student in the school. The family hails from Thrissur in Kerala. 'By depicting some of many quiet moments during the COVID-19 pandemic, I continued to document my journey as a student artist', Deekshith said. ISB Hon.Chairman Prince S Natarajan,Hon.Secretary Saji Antony and Principal VR Palaniswamy congratulated the student on his success in artistic expressions.
