Road Safety Tips for Students at ISB Riffa Campus

An awareness programme on Road Sense and Sensibility was conducted at The Indian School Riffa campus on October 26 and 27, 2022. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education in conjunction with the Directorate of Traffic. The sessions aimed at educating the young ones about traffic rules and school bus safety namely safe boarding , deboarding and crisis management techniques. The Public Relations officials from the Traffic Directorate Mr Sudhish and Ms Rabiya conducted the child friendly interactive multimedia sessions to make learning meaningful and application oriented for students. Teacher Pratiksha Desai welcomed the officials on behalf of the principal, school management and students. The officials explained traffic safety rules and school bus guidelines for students. They also gave tips on the right way of boarding school buses. It was a wonderful experience for students of the ISB as they got practical sessions along with video presentations and discussions. The interactive session witnessed participation of all teachers and around 1000 students of std 1. Class coordinator Sreeja Ajith gave vote of thanks. ISB Hon Chairman Prince S Natarajan,Hon. Secretary Saji Antony and Principal Pamela Xavier thanked the Ministry of Education and Traffic Directorate for their guidance and thanked the officials for familiarizing schoolchildren with the traffic rules and road safety norms.
