ISB Celebrates Hindi Divas 2021
The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) celebrated Hindi Divas on September 14, 2021, with a variety of programmes. The programme organised by the Hindi Department was held online by Microsoft Teams. This was the grand finale of a week-long celebration. The following are the winners in various competitions: Hindi Poem Recitation for Std IV & V: 1. Deepanshi Gopal, 2. Abdul Rahman Shayan, 3. Shashankit Rupesh Iyer. Hindi Doha Recitation for Std VI to VII: 1. Rudra Rupesh Iyer, 2. Suha Abdul Khader Basha, 3.Pranshu Saini. Hindi Essay Writing for Std. IX & X: 1. Ayesha Khanum Inayat Ullah Khan, 2. Ahana Smitha Kumar,3.Sejal Sajeev. HoD Baboo Khan coordinated the programme. The award ceremony was held at the Indian Embassy wherein Indian Ambassador Piyush Srivastava awarded the trophy and certificates to the first prize winners in the presence of school officials. ISB Hon.Chairman Prince S Natarajan, Hon. Secretary Saji Antony, Principal VR Palaniswamy and EC members appreciated the brilliant performance of the children in the competitions and the teachers for their coordination in organizing the event in a grand manner.
