The Indian School Excels in Bahrain Garden Club Contests

Manama: The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) Isa Town campus and Riffa campus together bagged 10 out of 12 prizes in the Bahrain Garden Club contests in addition to the first prize in the category of the best exhibit of flowers for private schools in the Kingdom. The achievements include three second prizes as well. The second prizes are in the following categories: the Best Educational School Garden, the Best Display of Art in the school garden and the Best Exhibit of Vegetables. ISB Riffa students won 3 awards namely Fresh Flower Arrangement, Pressed Flowers and Miniature Garden. The contest was organized in connection with the Annual Flower and Vegetable Show 2020. These are the 10 individual prizes that the ISB has won: Siddhi Manoj Vyas(IV-S) - first prize in Miniature Garden Manpreet Kaur (I-K) - first prize in Flower Arrangement. Angela Paul (VIII-W) - first prize Pressed Flowers Muhammed Rashdan(IV-Y) - third prize Miniature Garden Hannah P Arokia Kumar(VIII-T) - third prize in Pressed Flowers Abhinav Vinu (VIII- S) - second prize in Flower arrangement. Amit Devan(VII-V) -second prize in Miniature Garden. Anton Aji Joseph(VII-M) - third prize in Miniature Garden. Anusree Manikandan (IX-K)- third prize in Floral Arrangement. Rohan Prabhakar(V-V)- second prize in Miniature Garden. Middle Section Head Teacher Parvathi Devadas received the certificates from the Bahrain Garden Club officials. The ISB nature club was established in 2015 with the aim of creating awareness among students regarding the protection of nature and inculcating love for an eco-friendly campus. The theme of the club is Green ISB, Green Bahrain. Middle Section Teachers and supporting staff were instrumental in guiding the student and planning the garden in the campus. ISB Hon.
