Indian School Celebrates Book Week

Inculcating reading habit in students, the Indian School Bahrain (ISB) held the Annual Book Week celebrations at the Isa Town campus from January 19- 23. A Book Fair was one of the major attractions of the Book Week celebrations. ISB Principal VR Palaniswamy inaugurated the book fair by lighting the lamp in the presence of Staff Representative Johnson Devassy, Vice-Principals Anand Nair,Vinod S,Heads of Departments,staff and students.Major book shops like Book Mart, Barnes& Noble, Majestic book shop, and City bookshop took part in the fair. This Book Fair gave an exposure to the students on many new arrival books. It also provided an opportunity for students to buy,read and enjoy books. The Book Week also included competitions like short story writing in English, fancy dress, quiz on Mahatma Gandhi, book review and library logo design to bring out the students’ creativity.
