3 ISB Students Win Sastra Pratibha Awards

Three students of the Indian School Bahrain(ISB) have won the prestigious Sastra Pratibha title. Aritro Ghosh(Grade 5),Bala Srivastav Yerramilli(Grade 10) and Karthika Suresh(Grade 10) received the certificates and memento at the Science India Forum (SIF) award ceremony held at the Indian School Jashanmal auditorium on December 6, 2019. Indian Ambassador Alok Kumar Sinha was the chief guest of the ceremony. The Sastra Pratibha title achievers among 12,000 students from 7 schools of Bahrain received their trophies. Certificates for the A+ achievers were also given away during the function. The Indian School team consisting of Bala Srivastav and Souparnika Muthiah secured second place in the senior category at the 4th Bahrain Students Innovation Congress (BSIC) held at the Bahrain Society of Engineers hall Juffair on November 29, 2019. Dr D.S Ramesh, Director, Indian Institute of Geomagnetism(IIG), Mumbai distributed the BSIC certificates. The participants from six schools presented 19 projects in junior and senior categories. Bahrain Students Innovation Congress is the Bahrain national level screening competition. ISB Hon.
