The Indian School Celebrates Sanskrit Day

The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) conducted Sanskrit Day celebration on 4th November 2019. The celebration held at the ISB Jashanmal Auditorium, was inaugurated by Samskrita Bharati Bahrain coordinator Harish Sankaran by lighting the traditional lamp. Principal V.R.Palaniswamy, Vice-Principals, Head Teachers , HoD and other staff members attended the function. During his speech, the chief guest Harish Sankaran pointed out that learning Sanskrit is very important for students as it connects to their culture and ensures better cognitive development. Through small stories he explained how simple the Sanskrit language is. Class X student Pranav Aiyyer welcomed the gathering. Trophies and certificates were awarded to the winners during the function. Student Sneha Muralidharan delivered vote of thanks. The whole- hearted participation of the students, sincere efforts of the teachers and unending support of the management made this event a grand success. The Indian School Kingdom of Bahrain
