ISB Youth Festival Tarang 2019 Grand Finale on October 3
The Grand Finale of the Indian School Youth Festival Tarang 2019 will be held on Thursday (October 3) from 5.30pm at the school’s Jashanmal Auditorium in Isa Town. The Overall Championship trophies and individual prizes will be distributed during the Grand Finale. The participants scoring maximum points in stage and non-stage events will be awarded the prestigious Kalashri and Kalathilakam awards. Some of the prize winning and exhilarating events will be performed at the Grand Finale. More than 800 glittering trophies will be awarded during the ceremony. The ISB follows House system in which students are divided into sub-units called ‘houses’ named after eminent Indian scholars Aryabhata,Vikram Sarabhai, JC Bose and CV Raman .The Youth Festival is an opportunity for students to compete with one another displaying their talent and creative skills in art and literature. The students from age group 6 to 17 are grouped in levels A, B, C and D. The ISB Youth Festival is notable for the huge participation of students in around 130 events. More than 2500 children are participating in these events with Essay Writing English compulsory for all students from IV to XII. Tarang 2019 is a much-awaited event in the school calendar. The campus is buzzing with the energy of the performers and the motivating student audience. ISB Youth Festival is unique in its structure and organisation. The school has formed a committee to ensure the smooth conduct of the festival under the leadership of the principal and the vice principals. ISB Hon. Chairman Prince S Natarajan congratulated the students for their active participation in the youth festival: ‘School youth festivals are the cradles of the students' artistic and cultural development. They have become the forum where young artistic talents are discovered. Today they have gained much importance in academic routine, Prince Natarajan said.
