ISB celebrates Indian Independence Day

ISB celebrates Indian Independence Day The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) celebrated the 73rd Independence Day of India today(Thursday) with festivity and patriotic fervour. In a ceremony held at the Isa Town campus of the school, ISB Chairman Prince S Natarajan unfurled the national flag which was followed by the national anthem. The programme was attended by EC Members Mohammad Khursheed Alam, Rajesh MN, Adv Binu Mannil Varughese, Mohammed Nayaz Ullah, Principal-In-Charge Sreesadan OP , Convener Vipin PM and the staff from Isa Town and Riffa campuses. Hon.Chairman Prince S Natarajan gave a speech reminding the sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters and pledged that we would serve our motherland with heart, body, and soul to bring it glory and laurels with our dignified deeds. As we celebrate our nations Independence Day, let’s remember our past leaders who lost their lives in the battle for the freedom which we are enjoying today. Let’s make a strong decision, to value our nation and never forget the sacrifices from those who gave us freedom, Prince S Natarajan said. ISB Physical Education HoD Saikat Sarkar welcomed the gathering. Sweets were distributed in celebration of the Independence Day.
